The world got its first extended look at Final Fantasy VII Remakeduring Square Enix's E3 press conference on Monday and it impressed absolutely everybody.

Following a short trailer that dropped Sunday night that included that game's March 3, 2020 release date, audiences were primed for more FFVII. Little did they know it would blow their minds.

Here's a look at a breakdown of the remake's combat system, including a beautiful fight in the second half with Cloud and Barrett:

Even if you aren't familiar with Final Fantasy VII, it's hard not to get swept up by this game.

The crowd at the press conference went wild over and over thanks to this gorgeous gameplay, and viewers at home expressed their excitement online.

It was hard for some to articulate exactly how they were feeling, but we get it. We get it.

Some were elated to see some of their favorite characters like Tifa and Sephiroth.

I mean look at them.

This showing was a tough one to beat in terms of audience excitement, and with only a couple of big press conferences left, Final Fantasy 7 Remakecould walk away as the E3 2019 winner.

It's also important to remember that Cloud said shit. And so did Barrett.
