Making your Tinder profile stand out from the crowd can be tough.

But, one British chap decided to make a PowerPoint presentation entitled "Why you should swipe right: A presentation by Sam," which he uploaded to his Tinder profile.

And, to his delight, this strategy proved hugely successful.

21-year-old Sam Dixey's Tinder profile was spotted by Gracie Barrow, who found his "10/10 effort" charming. She tweeted screenshots of his profile, and her tweet gained nearly 20K retweets, and 88K likes.

Barrow told Mashableshe thought Dixey's Tinder profile was "really funny" and, in case you were wondering, she swiped right on him. She also wanted to tell Sam how much it had made her laugh.

"I straight away showed my friends because I’d never seen anything like it before!" says Barrow.

Dixey says his reason for making the presentation stemmed mostly from a "mix of boredom" and "trying to be a little creative." He saw a few similar examples on the internet, and, armed with this inspiration, he and a mate went for it.

The presentation begins with a slide entitled "I have friends and do things outside."

"As you can clearly see from the visual aids, I have friends and go places. This is always a good thing," writes Dixey.

Slide number two lists things Dixey enjoys doing, including talking about his feelings, Dad jokes, dominos, laser tag, and long walks on the beach.

In his slide dedicated to "other notable qualities and skills," he claims to know "all the rules to drinking games," and says he owns a Netflix account. He's also "not the worst at sex."

He also included a series of "totally real" reviews. Full disclosure, these "reviews" are totally not real.

Dixey says he's had "quite a few old matches" pop up to let him know that his profile went viral and asking him to "remember them" when he's famous.

But, old matches aside, Dixey says the presentation has helped his dating success. He's spotted "quite a clear correlation between uploading it and the number of matches/dates that have happened as a result."

Barrow says she wishes more people would follow Dixey's example on Tinder.

"Mostly everyone’s Tinder profile is the same, with good pictures of themselves and usually a shit bio, but Sam’s was different and really stood out," she wrote. "I think most girls appreciate the funniness of it all!"

Sometimes a little bit of effort goes a long way.
