This Bruins fan flipping the bird is all of Boston sports fans after Thursday night's Stanley Cup Final Game 5 debacle that gave the St. Louis Blues a 2-1 win.
With the series tied at two games each, the Bruins hosted the Blues on Thursday night and the Blues benefited from a glaring penalty no-call that will stand alongside the infamous no-call in January's New Orleans Saints-Los Angeles Rams NFL playoff game.
Halfway through the third period, it sure looked like Blues player Tyler Bozak tripped up Bruins player Noel Acciari in what should have been a penalty call. Instead, the trip gave the Blues the puck, which immediately led to a goal.

The Bruins scored a few minutes later, cutting the lead to 2-1. The team had a few other opportunities to tie the game but nothing went through. The Blues held on while Bruins fans, like the young man above, were left to show their displeasure with how it all went down.

Of course, every team benefits from missed calls at one time or another and non-Bruins fans were quick to revel in a little karma.

The Blues have a chance to put the series to bed and hoist Lord Stanley's Cup on Sunday night when they host Boston for Game 6.
But don't feeltoo bad for Boston sports fans. Even if the Bruins can't bounce back, they've had six Super Bowls (New England Patriots: 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, 2018); four World Series (Red Sox: 2004, 2007, 2013, 2018); one NBA Finals (Boston Celtics: 2008); and one other Stanley Cup Final (2011) to celebrate in the last 18 years.
