A pet-friendly hotel may be your only option when traveling with your furry friends, but what about when you're traveling with your horse?

Lindsey Partridge was checking into her motel in Georgetown, Kentucky earlier this month when she overheard that the guest in front of her had a dog with her. Realizing the hotel was pet-friendly, she decided to use he opportunity to show off how docile her special pet could be, according to Kentucky.com.

So, when Partridge was checking in, she -- apparently jokingly -- asked the staff if her horse could also stay, considering the Super 8 was welcoming towards animals.

“[The front desk clerk] said, ‘Aw, I wouldn’t mind. You could do that,’” Partridge told Kentucky.com.

So the woman went to her trailer in the parking lot and paraded her pet Blizz through the motel. Blizz is a horse, of course, and she used to race under the name Here Comes Adri.

The hotel staff and Partridge made an awkward video which shows a mock check-in, and the woman even took Blizz to her room where the two watched a little bit of TV.

After getting herself settled, Partidge took Blizz and her other horses to the Kentucky Horse Park, where there were actual stables to house them.

Partidge, who is known as Canada's Horse Whisperer, told Kentucky.com that she wanted to show off how well-behaved horses can be with the right training. She also said that race horses are "often stereotyped for being crazy and hotheaded and unruly."

While I'm not a huge horse person, I'd say they're also well-known for smelling bad and pooping wherever they want, which is probably why most people don't want them in motels.

The woman and her horses were in town for the Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover, where Blizz took third place in the trail division. Partridge's other two horses landed first and second place in that competition.
